Viewed in Wonderland: 2012
I prefer the theory that there will be a shift in consciousness on Dec. 12, 2012. This movie is going to freak a lot of people out and there are already a lot of people that are freaked out. Maybe doom is closer than we think, but if it is there isn't really anything we can do. I'm hoping for the best. And I'm attempting to live each day to the fullest.

Oishi in Wonderland: Takoyaki
For a while now, Allan has been wanting to try takoyaki, octopus balls. So when Keiichi offered to have us and the girls over for dinner I told him how much Allan wanted takoyaki. So Ayumi and Keiichi made us takoyaki and okonomiyaki. On both dishes were the dancing bonito flakes. Check it out!
Celebrating in Wonderland: Birthday Pt.1
Ok. So I didn't have the Living Dead Doll party. But I had a weekend of fun with my friends. It started on Friday. We just hung out and had dinner here at our place. Then on Saturday we went to dinner at my boss/friend's house.

Hooping in Wonderland: Hoop City!
Shortly after I got my hoop I joined an online community for hoopers, Hoop City. It was started by Sandra "Safire" Sommerville, an amazing hoop dancer and teacher. I watch her tutorials on You Tube. The Hoop City site is filled with inspiring pictures and video. There are forums and everyone seems really encouraging and helpful. I'm glad to be apart of it. One of the extra cool things is that each member has a profile and you can add a playlist. Lately I've been checking out people's playlist to figure out what kind of music will get me hooping. :P
All in all I'm having a blast and a plus, I'm the current featured member. lol. It's probably random.
Oh and now Michele and Nella are going to have hoops. Just waiting for the order to come in!!!

Shopping in Wonderland: Pullip
Isn't this doll beautiful? She is a Pullip and can be purchased at The Valley of the Dolls.
She's too pricy for me, but really nice to look at online. :)

Hooping in Wonderland: Got my hoop!!!
I received my hoop today! I ordered it from Rainbowfrogs77 on May 30th. Its a plain collapsible hoop. I still need to go out and get the tapes to decorate it, but I still haven't chosen a color scheme and pattern.
The hoop came like 2 hoops in a figure 8. Getting it into 1 hoop was a little confusing but I'm sure after some practice I'll be able to get it done faster. :P So I spent the last 3 hours watching hoop how-to's on You Tube with Nella. I can hoop decently and even learned to do the lasso trick.
Nel had so much fun she ordered one tonight. lol. It's a great work out, too. So if you're looking for a fun way to work out you should really consider hoop dance. The hoops aren't super expensive either. Mine was only $17 with shipping. The seller also has taped hoops if you don't want to have to tape it yourself.
Since I'm definitely not ready to post vids of me hooping watch this video of Safire. She's awesome!!!

Shopping in Wonderland: Awesome Etsy Jewelers!
Life in Wonderland: Another well thought gift!
Life in Wonderland: hmmm.
I went out last night with my girls. It's been a while. I had fun, but today I'm feeling unmotivated and unproductive. I hate when I feel like this on my day off. Today we're having a bbq for my nephews birthday too. So I really need to jump start my mood.

Crafting in Wonderland: Handmade gift
I have a friend who owns a tattoo shop and her birthday was just a few days ago. So I decided to make her a pair of pajama pants, like the one I posted yesterday. But instead of using just any t-shirt I asked Allan if I could use one of his from the tattoo shop. I also found out how to make it so that the image is not cut off so much. For her's I added a drawstring, too. Hope she likes it!!!

Crafting in Wonderland: T-shirt into sweat pants
I was watching the latest episode of Thread Banger and decided I'd try to make one of Allan's old t-shirts into sweat pants! It turned out better than I expected it to. I think Viva likes them!! :P

Un-birthday in Wonderland: I have the best Un-sister ever!
I love black nail polish. I own atleast 3 different bottles of black nail polish, but I've been in love with Chanel's black polish for a couple of years now. I just couldn't justify spending that much on it. Well tonight is my night. Nel came over and gave me my birthday present early. We don't do suprises well. Anyways, as you may have guessed, she gifted me with my coveted Chanel black satin. This is the absolute best black polish in the world!!!
Thank you Nel!!! I love you!!!
She's right here next to me as I type this. :P lol.

Garden in Wonderland: Seeds on Etsy
Since we moved in to our apartment, a couple years ago, I've been wanting to have a container garden in our tiny back yard/patio area. I just haven't been motivated though. But now I'd like to be able to take Viva out back more and enjoy myself back there too. I'd also like to grow some herbs and veggies for our kitchen. It should save us money and make for really delicious dinners.
Yesterday I cut up a bunch of 2 liter plastic bottles. I'm going to use the bottom pieces as mini herb planters. I'll paint them a little and make them so that they hang. I'm going to put a few in the kitchen too. I cut up some larger bottles that I can use for tomatoes and maybe green onions.
Now that I have some containers ready I need some seeds. I'm going to check the locally owned hardware store, but I also decided to check Etsy. It feels good supporting small businesses.
myvictorygarden - lots of sales and 100% positive feedback - many seed varieties.
Thebearfootshaman - all positive feedback - flowers and herbs and veggies.
greenthing - all positive feedback & lots of sales - they have spider flower seeds & a bunch more!
Of course, before I purchase or plant anything I'll need to research what will be safe for Viva and Merlot to come in contact with. Anything unsafe for animals will be in a restricted area and raised. I'm so excited. I can't wait to be able to share pictures of my garden. Hopefully I'll be able to start soon!!!
