Here are two versions of a true story. The first one is just clips set to music from a 1987 Japanese film and the second one is the trailer for a 2009 american version.
I remember this touching story but never watched the movie about it! Thanks for posting :D And you know.. Japanese actually build the statue in Shibuya in memory for Hachiko.
That statue was actually buily twice. The first time it was used for the war effort , but after the war the had the original sculptor's son remake it. Hachiko was also there for the dedication of the statue and his body is preserved at the Akita museum in Japan.
