The next set I make will be with black and white beads. That I can wear. :P

Life in Wonderland : Update ... blah
Nella and I are working on a project. Be on the look out for Constants. You'll be hearing more about that later.
Valentines is coming up. It's not one of my favorite holidays, but I hope everyone has a good one. Allan was supposed to make Merlot a cat tree as our Valentines present, but I'm not sure if he's going to come through. I had to remind him today. :P I was thinking about doing something for him, but I'm not sure what yet. Any ideas? I think I'll make Viva heart shaped puppy cookies.
That's all for this update. Not much happening. Hopefully my next update will be more exciting. lol. Hopefully I'll have swap pics to share and pictures of the garden I want to get working on. Maybe. :)

Make up in Wonderland : Check it out!
I've been a very busy girl lately. Work, cleaning, and crafting. Well today after Allan left for work I was looking for a hair tie in the bathroom and decided I never use my make up anymore. So I went nuts. No seriously. I had to take pictures to document another crazy moment in my mostly monotonous life. It was fun, but now my eyes just feel super heavy from all the mascara and eyeshadow. With all that make up you'd think I would've invested in some industrial strength make up remover. Nope. I am mean mean mean to my skin. Infact my make up usually looks best on day 2. lol. \\
It's back to cleaning and crafting now. Man! I have to finish my swap projects so I can send tomorrow. The sooner she gets it the sooner I can post pics. But if you're really interested I can send you a link to my secret stash of pics. lol.

Oishi in Wonderland: Eat me!
Last night I made Allan dinner. He had to do the dishes before I cooked. :) It was quite interesting and seeing him so completely frustrated I actually offered to do them myself. He refused.
I started by sauteing garlic in butter in a saucepan. I should have used more butter, though. When it was hot enough I added firm tofu. While that was frying up I added some linguine to a pot of boiling water for about 9 mins. I added garlic salt instead of regular salt to the pasta, for no other reason than it was closer. lol. I ground some pepper into the tofu and added a little bit of Italian seasoning. I scooped out my tofu and used that left over butter garlic sauce to defrost my frozen broccoli. Then I added some more butter and some milk and my WF Alfredo sauce mix. I love Western Family. I'm young and broke, why not? I let that boil, then simmer for a couple minutes. I drained the pasta and everything was done. Just had to pile it all in a bowl and enjoy. I think the broccoli was the best part because it really retained the sauce well. I should've drained the tofu more so it could soak up some more yummy sauce.
I wanted to get a picture but we were so hungry I forgot. Can you believe there were no left overs? I'm so proud. I didn't even have to dig up a recipe for this. :)

The List in Wonderland: The results are in.
I'm lame. I had 3 days off and a list of things to accomplish. I only actually completely finished one item. Yesterday Allan and I took Viva to the beach. :) She had a blast, btw. I did get some laundry done, but not enough to cross it off the list. We bought the shower curtain liner, but I still haven't put it up. Sad huh? Allan got 2 of the meds that Viva and Merlot need, but forgot Viva's extra one.
So what did I do? I rented a couple movies, Dreamland and Women. Women was hilarious. There were no men in the entire movie!!! So strange. hehehe. I worked on my swap items. I'm currently battling a zipper. lol. I discovered I don't like instant coffee. I went grocery shopping twice and am now broke. I cooked beef stew. Allan loves it. :) Tonight I'm making a tofu and pasta in white sauce. yummy.
Tomorrow I get off at 2:30 and will work on my swap more and start turning old gallon water jugs into pots to grow veggies and stuff.

Life in Wonderland: Update.
Yesterday was the first of my 3 days off in a row. So far it's been decent. I had to clean and organize the art room yesterday, again. That drove me crazy. Allan and I went to the bookstore to spend the rest of his g.c. from his brother. I got a couple magazines and he got a book and a skateboard magazine.

We also went to the dollar-fifty store and I got a few things. I needed a couple binders to store project ideas and patterns in. I found a cute sewing kit with a needle dispenser and a bunch of different colored thread spools. I got one more thing, but I've completely forgotten what it was.
Oh and my parents found the cutest bed for Viva. She isn't comfortable with it yet, but hopefully her and Merlot will come to enjoy it. I love it!

Crafting in Wonderland: If only you knew . . .
AAAAAAAAaaaaaaagh! I have projects I want to share so badly, but because they're for my swap I can't. :( I bought some supplies today and being at the craft store gave me some ideas. I managed to only spend $10. That's a relief since shipping to Singapore is quite costly. I know it'll be worth it though. I really hope my swap partner likes her goods. :D

Merlot in Wonderland: Hoping for a Cat Tree
I've been looking for a cat tree for Merlot for a while. I want her to be able to have a place to get away from Viva and still hang out and observe in the living room. All the ones here are either expensive or really cheap - quality wise too.
So I've asked Allan if he can make her one. All tips and ideas are welcome!!! I'm hoping to have this project done by valentines. hehe.
Wishful thinking.
Planning in Wonderland: Three days off in a row?!?
I'm going to be off for an entire weekend! Crazy huh? So . . . I need to start planning it out so I don't completely waste my weekend lying in bed or admiring other people's crafts while mine go unfinished. So here's the list.
- finish swap items to send out on Monday.
- make enough beads to make 20 bracelets. try to put some together.
- check out the flea market and thrift shops.
- purchase Viva and Merlot's monthly preventative meds. administer.
- take Viva to the beach or at least walking in Tumon.
- work on a head board for the bed.
- clean up the itty bitty yard and get some plants for it.
- start getting a hold of artists for donations for the Guma Mami charity art auction.
- get a new shower curtain liner. got one today. :P starting early = a good sign.
- laundry laundry laundry
- organize the loose dvds
- organize entry way and get/make shoe rack
- most important: make/sew an item of clothing to wear to Allan's gig next week. it's been to long since i've seen him perform.
I'll keep you all updated through out the week with pictures. :) I'll also be adding more items to the list, knowing me. lol.
Also my sister in law is back in the blogosphere. She currently is authoring a few blogs. :P
secondarily erin - opinions and observations
mommy who? - motherhood and stories about my adorable, smart and insanely funny nephews. You have to see them they are sooo beautiful.
She is an awesome writer. I'm certain you'll enjoy her blogs. :)

Glamour-less in Wonderland: Feeling blah.

Lately I've been feeling pretty boring, blah, and far from pretty. I realize I'm super lucky to have Allan, who tells me multiple times a day that I'm beautiful. But sometimes we need to feel, for ourselves, that we're beautiful. So I'm going to go into self improvement mode. And will start doing all I can to look and feel better for myself. I'm sure it'll spill over into my relationship with Allan and my friendships. Not only I'm I going to overhaul myself physically and emotionally, but I'm giving my environment a makeover too! So since I got a lot of my craft swapping done this morning tonight I'm going to clean out my apartment. Pack away some stuff and glamour it up. :P I'll keep you updated on my progress. Hopefully Glamour-less will turn in to Glamorous in Wonderland!

Sober in Wonderland: Bored, but thankful . . . I guess.
Today I realized that I haven't been out in a while. The last time I was out partying with my friends was in November for Nel's birthday. :( One reason is that I don't have money to be spending just going out and the other is that I don't want to leave Viva, our dear pup, alone at night. She still has separation anxiety and would end up keeping the neighbors awake all night. I'm just a little annoyed because Allan still gets to go out. grrrrrrrrr. I'm going to go out next week and he can stay home with Viva. Yea right. At the last minute I'll feel bad and end up staying home.

Would anyone like to donate puppy sitting services to save my sanity? lol.
